Admirals AGM and Head Coach Announcement

The Admirals are proud to announce the appointment of their new Head Coach Mark Tanner.

Mark has been involved with the sport since 1988. He initially started playing Youth Kitted for the Brighten B52's at CB S and QB. He then moved into Senior football with the Horsham Predators (WR and S) and then Crawley Raiders (QB and WR) before moving to the Admirals for the 1996 season. In 1998/99 he made 5 appearances in the Wales Dragons National Team (3 as Starting QB) who took part in the Four Nations Tournament.

He has previously been a HC for the Plymouth Chief's Pee Wee Team and has been QB/WR and then later Offensive Co-ordinator with the Plymouth Blitz Uni Team as well as the Plymouth Admirals.

Although Mark will be a first year Senior Head Coach, he has extensive knowledge of both the game, and coaching techniques and has been a valued Senior member of the squad. The Committee and Team are very much looking forward to working with him during the upcoming season.
